Introduction: The below terms govern the use of the website of Just 4 Fun Kids Camp Ltd (“Just 4 Fun”) (“We”) and the Terms and Conditions for booking places on our Summer Camp. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. The terms and conditions set out herein apply to all children enrolled in Just 4 Fun Kids Camp, and by booking a place in one of our camps, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions and waive any claim contrary to the terms set out herein. Camp Information: The hours of the camp are 9:30 am to 3pm each day. Just 4 Fun are not responsible for children outside of these hours, and it is the sole responsibility of the Parents/Guardians to ensure that their child arrives and is collected from the designated camp location at the times specified above. Children must bring a packed lunch, rain gear, and sunscreen each day. Mobile phones by children are not permitted during the camp, all valuables should be left at home. Photographs and video footage may be taken and used for promotional reasons. If you do not wish images of your child to be used by us, please inform the Just 4 Fun Kids Camp office when booking, or by way of e-mail. Parents/Guardians must provide a secondary phone number or contact when filling out the booking form for use in case of emergencies. For health and safety reasons, children may be required to remove shoes, socks, or peaked caps during certain activities. Bookings and Payment: Places will be allocated on the basis of ‘first come, first served.’ Places will only be allocated upon payment of a non-refundable deposit. The applicable deposit is €30 per child, and this will be reduced to €25 for each and any subsequent sibling Fee reductions can only be applied to bookings on a per family unit base. €3.00 booking fee applies per transaction. This is a platform fee separate to our own summer camp registration fees. We only accept children from the age of 5 years to 12 years. Cancellations & Refunds: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, a 14-day cooling off period applies, meaning a booking which is cancelled within 14 days from the date of booking is refundable. However, if the camp commences during this 14 day period, the booking fee will not be refunded. Application: A Parent/Guardian must sign the application form and agree to these terms & conditions. The fact of payment via Just 4 Fun also constitutes agreement with these terms and conditions. All medical conditions must be clearly stated on the application form. By booking a place in Just 4 Fun Kids Camp, you warrant and confirm that your child can safely participate in all activities, and has no medical or physical inhibition which would render participation in our activities unsafe. Parents/Guardians are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical needs and ensuring their child’s readiness. Liability: General Waiver of Liability: While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, Just 4 Fun and its employees, volunteers, agents, or subcontractors accept no liability for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense that may occur to a child or their personal property during the camp, unless arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the camp staff. Inherent Risks: Parents/Guardians acknowledge and accept that participation in outdoor, recreational, and group activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, uneven terrain, contact with natural elements (e.g., insects, plants), and interactions with other participants. These risks, while minimised through supervision and safety protocols, cannot be entirely eliminated and are hereby acknowledged. Medical: At Just 4 Fun, the health and safety of all children is of the utmost importance. However, in accordance with Irish health and safety guidelines and our internal policies, camp staff are not authorised or trained to administer medication, to any child attending camp or tour, this includes but is not limited to EpiPens. Parents/guardians must ensure that any child attending camp who requires any form of medication (including EpiPens, inhalers, or other prescribed treatments) is fully capable of self-administering same, alternatively, parents and guardians should stay at the camp to supervise their child. Where a child is capable of self-administration of medication, all such medications must be clearly labelled with the child’s name and accompanied by written instructions from their parent/guardian or medical professional. Camp staff may if required may assist in facilitating access to the child’s medication but will not administer same under any circumstances. Staff are not medically trained or qualified to administer medication. This policy is applicable to all children attending camp or tours even where parents have put the organiser on notice of the child’s requirement for medication. In the event of a medical emergency, first aid may be administered by a qualified first aider. Where necessary, staff will arrange for the participant to be taken to a medical facility or treated by emergency services. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the Parent/Guardian. The camp is not liable for any medical costs incurred as a result of treatment or emergency care. We promote a nut-free environment to ensure the safety of all attendees. However, we cannot guarantee the absence of nut traces in food brought by children or external sources beyond our control, and you acknowledge the risks associated with potential allergen exposure. Loss or Damage to Personal Property: Participants are discouraged from bringing valuables or unnecessary personal items to camp. The Camp is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings, including mobile phones, clothing, jewellery, or other equipment brought to the camp location. Behavioural Incidents: The Camp shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages caused by a participant’s failure to follow safety instructions, rules, or staff directions. Should a participant cause injury to another or damage to property through misconduct or negligence, the parent/guardian may be held liable for the costs or consequences arising. Just 4 Fun reserves the right to potentially remove any individual for behavioural issues, failing to adhere to camp rules, dangerous conduct, or behavioural issues where such behaviour puts the health and/or safety of fellow participants at risk. Just 4 Fun will not refund a Parent/Guardian for the participants’ place in circumstances where such place has been allocated and Just 4 Fun’s costs have been incurred. Third-Party Providers: Just 4 Fun may engage third-party service providers (such as venue hire) where same is deemed necessary (e.g. venue hire). In the event a third-party is engaged, the third party is classified as an independent contractor and not deemed an employee, agent or representative of Just 4 Fun Just 4 Fun cannot be held liable for actions, omissions, or services provided by third parties unless a contrary contractual obligation exists between them and the Camp. Insurance: Just 4 Fun maintains public liability insurance in accordance with industry standards for the activities provided. This insurance does not extend to personal property, nor does it replace personal accident or medical insurance. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to ensure their child is adequately covered by their own health or personal accident insurance policies if desired. Force Majeure: The Camp shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, public health emergencies, strikes, natural disasters, or government regulations. Right of Amendment: Just 4 Fun reserves the right to amend, update, or vary these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, where such changes are necessary for operational, legal, or safety reasons. Any significant changes will be communicated to parents/guardians via email or posted on our official website. Continued participation in the Camp following any such updates shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions. Data Protection: Any information collected by Just 4 Fun Kids Camp Ltd will be stored in accordance with Data Protection Laws. See our Data Protection Policy for further details in this regard. Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
